The TLC Deck of Cards is a biennial art project run by UK registered charity Transplant Links Community (TLC) and Dame Floella Benjamin, bringing together 54 artists to create unique decks of cards, the profits of which fund the training of healthcare professionals in developing countries.
The work of the charity Transplant Links Community (TLC) is so close to my heart. Their goal is to train surgeons and doctors in low- and middle-income countries to carry out kidney transplants so that the lives of many people with kidney failure can be transformed and saved.
